As you turn through the gates of Kirklinton Hall, prepare to be transported to another world as the impressive remains of Kirklinton Hall come into full view. The Tower created from part of the Hall’s peel tower, combines many original features with everyday comforts, with stone floors and underfloor heating throughout. Step indoors and be wowed by the quirky living space, with an open-plan kitchen and dining area and a cosy sitting room. A mezzanine floor has been added to accommodate the bedroom with lovely views over the old cobbled courtyard. The kitchen is fully equipped, along with a dining table for relaxed evening meals. Alternatively, sink into the luxurious sofas and either soak up the silence or catch a film on the smart TV. A beautifully appointed bedroom is on offer, a king-size complete with luxurious bed linens and plenty of storage, whilst a sleek and elegant bathroom invites you to indulge in a long shower. Outside you will have access to formal gardens and woodland surrounding the property. Relax in the total tranquillity of the gardens or take a woodland riverside walk, following the tumbling beck until it finally joins a curve of the River Lyne. A delightful, well-stocked town in northern Cumbria that runs alongside the River Esk. Longtown is a fantastic base for a holiday as it comes in the centre of four Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, including Solway Coast aonb, the Northumberland National PPeark, North Pennines aonb and the Lake District National Park.The local area offers a pleasant range of shops, pubs and restaurants for you to choose from. There are some beautiful places nearby, offering even more places to go and things to do. Brampton and Carlisle are nearby with beautiful buildings. As Longtown is so close to Scotland, it would be rude not to visit Dumfries and Galloway. Edinburgh and Glasgow are just over an hours drive away.
