Completely renovated and refurbished in 2021 it has been beautifully presented and is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the comforts of this lovely cottage. From the cottage there is easy road access to a variety of the north’s most spectacular scenery and places of interest. Enjoy a day exploring the Lake District National Park, the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and, of course, Hadrian’s Wall which is basically on your doorstep, or even a day trip to Scotland to discover the beautiful Scottish Borders.

First impresions were nice, clean had good amenities. They were very responsive even in the evenings and drove to drop off a hairdryer when we asked. It's a little out of the way then I expected but since we had a car it was okay. The car parking spot is very tight and skids a little on the uneven edge. Bathroom could use a couple of hooks for clothes or towels whilst we're showering. There was quite a bit of dust on surfaces. But other than that, it was quaint and quite so it provoded a good night sleep.

Nice property. Good location . Could do with a mirror in main bedroom . Also blinds needed in small bedroom. Also a mirror above bathroom sink . Also no instructions on where to put your rubbish /recycling
