Low Moat whilst in this wonderful countryside setting is only four miles from Longtown and close to the Solway Coast in Dumfries and Galloway, the Lake District National Park and Northumberland National Park so ideally situated to explore both England and Scotland by car.

2nd time to low moat and highly recomend it for peace n quiet. Working farm but didnt bother us. Jon and Fiona are fab. Cottage immaculate with everything needed there for you. Hot tub great. Nice walks with dog. Nearest amenities 4 miles away.

Smashing time at low moat. Great location 👌 not to far to the lakes, Gretna green 8 miles, Carlisle 25min away . Hot tub very nice . It is on a working farm so beware of the country odours lol 😆. Very comfortable and everything you would need for a good relaxing break .

First impressions were of a fabulous property. Plenty of space good facilities. Tv good, plenty of dog blankets, fridge and oven good. Furniture comfortable. We slept well. Sorry we didn’t get chance to chat to owners. The outside eating area needs improving- needs flower tubs, bushes, shrubs. We didn’t use hot tub - afraid of slipping. Altogether a nice place to chill.
