A lovely place to stay very quiet and dark just how I like it. Had everything we needed , lovely and warm with an added log burner. The owner pop around to introduce himself and asked if we had everything we needed which was very kind. All in all great place to stay and shall be back.

Great location for all things Hadrians Wall but remote from any pubs/shops etc. Lanercost Priory and tea rooms are a short walk down the hill, otherwise you will need a car.

Beautiful cottage as well as the surroundings. Mike was very helpful and a pleasure to meet him. Would highly recommend booking .
