Wordsworth is a striking detached lodge set on North Lakes Holiday Park, near Aspatria, Cumbria. With off-road parking for three cars, it’s an ideal base for families or groups eager to explore the region’s sweeping landscapes and quiet charm. Step inside and the open-plan layout welcomes you with a sense of space and flow. The kitchen is thoughtfully arranged, with everything from an induction hob to a dishwasher, making it easy to settle in and take on whatever the day brings. Meals come together easily and are best enjoyed around the dining table, where conversation lingers long after plates are cleared.

The living area invites you to settle in. The furnishings adds warmth and character, while the Smart TV and DVD player offer options for winding down. When it’s time to turn in, choose between two bedrooms: a king-size with its own TV, and a twin that can be converted to a king-size on request, also with a TV for added ease. Two sleek shower rooms serve the lodge, both with walk-in showers, basins and WCs. Outside, the veranda extends the experience into the open air. Sink into the hot tub or settle into the outdoor furniture with a show on the Smart TV.

Aspatria is a small town in west Cumbria which has had a settlement there for over 3000 years. The town is located on the site of an old Roman road and is known for its 19th century St. Kentigern church. Lying just 5 miles from the coast and on the edge of the Lake District National Park, Aspatria is a superb base for discovering the Cumbrian countryside. It has a railway station and a number of shops and pubs. Just a few miles to the north is the market town of Wigton which still holds a market each Tuesday in the covered market hall. Wigton is a popular centre for shopping, pubs and restaurants, and also boasts a theatre, bowls, swimming, tennis and other sports. The port town of Silloth is just a few miles away and has a wide range of amenities. Aspatria is a wonderful location for a memorable Cumbrian holiday.
