The park are unable to accommodate any commercial vehicles parked at the lodges. If this applies please leave them at the reception.
Wi-Fi is available at a charge, however it is slower than a landline Wi-Fi signal as the trees can sometimes disrupt the strength. Wi-Fi at Ladera is very intermittent so please be aware of this before arrival.
Security Deposit: Please note that a security deposit of £250, payable directly to the park via bank transfer, is required prior to arrival. A representative from the park will contact you to arrange payment. The deposit will be refunded back onto your card shortly after bank details have been provided for the transfer.
Arrival Information: Check in is between 4pm - 6.30pm, if you are going to arrive after 6.30pm please call the park to arrange.Facilities: Please be aware that your hot tub may not be up to optimum temperature on your day of arrival due to water change and maintenance.Fast Broadband Internet has now been implemented on site.NO gas BBQ,s are permitted on the park but guests can bring their own disposable BBQ's-These have to be raised from the ground.Ladera Retreat Lodges reception staff will contact you prior to arrival with all the necessary check in details.

We enjoyed our break at Ladera. We were asked for a higher security deposit than stated on the email, but this was rectified easily and the security deposit was returned back to me the next day. The lodge was spacious and has good facilities. I agree with some of the other comments that the decking needs a good jet wash to keep it safe and there was a few things in the lodge that needed fixing (main shower we struggled using, and it was dirty and had a loose tile. The dishwasher door was broken. However none affected our stay. We found the 9am check out a little too early so left thurs pm instead. Would recommend taking your own pillows for comfort

Overall a lovely lodge with gorgeous hot tub. However, check out at 9am is really too early. We had a baby, 2 dogs, and all the packing of the car to do for 9am which is far too early. They could afford to change checkout to 10am for no major inconvenience to themselves. We askedfor later checkout to be told it was an extra £35 for 1lam and £55 for 1pm checkout, which is ridiculous. To check out 2 hours later is more than 15% of the cost that we paid for the whole trip. I also enquired about borrowing a highchair for the 5 day trip and was told it would cost £15. This again, seems ridiculous. If you went to a restaurant they wouldn't charge for the hire of a highchair, just doesn't seem right to make extra money from the hire of a chair. There were also a few dead flies and spiders on the walls/ inside the cupboards of the lodge, which although was no real issue for us I imagine it would be for others. Overall we enjoyed our stay but the few details mentioned above did make me irritated before we had even arrived.
