The park are unable to accommodate any commercial vehicles parked at the lodges. If this applies please leave them at the reception.
Wi-Fi is available at a charge, however it is slower than a landline Wi-Fi signal as the trees can sometimes disrupt the strength. Wi-Fi at Ladera is very intermittent so please be aware of this before arrival.
Security Deposit: Please note that a security deposit of £250, payable directly to the park via bank transfer, is required prior to arrival. A representative from the park will contact you to arrange payment. The deposit will be refunded back onto your card shortly after bank details have been provided for the transfer.
Arrival Information: Check in is between 4pm - 6.30pm, if you are going to arrive after 6.30pm please call the park to arrange.Facilities: Please be aware that your hot tub may not be up to optimum temperature on your day of arrival due to water change and maintenance.Fast Broadband Internet has now been implemented on site.NO gas BBQ,s are permitted on the park but guests can bring their own disposable BBQ's-These have to be raised from the ground.Ladera Retreat Lodges reception staff will contact you prior to arrival with all the necessary check in details.

My partner, children, and I had a really lovely stay at Ladera Retreat Lodges. We spent a wonderful long weekend there, and it was fantastic. The remote check-in process was smooth and the lodge was clean, modern and spacious. Towels, a hairdryer, robes, and good quality toiletries were provided, and the hot tub was warm and ready to use. The kitchen was fully equipped, containing all the cutlery, washing up liquid and towels we needed. The bedrooms were spacious, with the master bedroom having an en-suite and a dressing room. The one and only downside side (and the only reason I've rated it 4 stars rather than 5) is the £250 deposit having to be paid by bank transfer the day before arrival rather than a pending transaction being taken like other similar retreats. Although it was refunded in full the day after we left, it felt a bit off-putting because it lacks consumer protection.We had a truly fantastic stay, and we can't wait to stay again!

We recently stayed at Ladera Retreat Lodges for 2 nights. Our first impressions on arrival were really positive – communication before arrival was good and check-in was smooth and straightforward.Unfortunately, there were a few things that let the stay down. One concern was that the maintenance team wasn’t working during our stay, which made us wonder what would have happened if something had gone wrong.After settling in, we noticed the cleanliness could have been better. There was a sticky mark on the bedside table and a popcorn kernel left on the bed in the second bedroom. General maintenance around the lodge also felt like it needed more attention – there was no blind in the main bathroom, fixtures and fittings looked tired, and some bathroom essentials hadn’t been topped up.We were also disturbed at 2am by arguing neighbours and a car alarm, which affected our sleep. Throughout the stay there was also a noticeable smell of smoke coming from a local farm.Getting the security deposit returned became frustrating due to a minor mistake on my side, but it did leave me wondering whether anyone would have contacted me if I hadn’t followed it up myself.That said, despite quite a few negatives, we did enjoy parts of our stay and had a nice enough break overall. However, for the price paid, we personally feel it’s overpriced and unfortunately wouldn’t return.
