The Riverside is new in for 2023. The lodge situated in quiet corner with accessible ramp access. Offering 2 bedrooms made up of one double bedroom with dressing room area and en suite shower room with grab rails in the shower. The second bedroom is a twin room. Main shower room. The lounge area has a sofa bed and board games. well-equipped kitchen with built in microwave and dishwasher.. The park are unable to accommodate any commercial vehicles parked at the lodges. If this applies please leave them at the reception.
Wi-Fi is available at a charge, however it is slower than a landline Wi-Fi signal as the trees can sometimes disrupt the strength. Wi-Fi at Ladera is very intermittent so please be aware of this before arrival.
Security Deposit: Please note that a security deposit of £150, payable directly to the park via bank transfer, is required prior to arrival. A representative from the park will contact you to arrange payment. The deposit will be refunded back onto your card shortly after bank details have been provided for the transfer.
Arrival Information: Check in is between 4pm - 6.30pm, if you are going to arrive after 6.30pm please call the park to arrange.Facilities: Please be aware that your hot tub may not be up to optimum temperature on your day of arrival due to water change and maintenance.Fast Broadband Internet has now been implemented on site.NO gas BBQ,s are permitted on the park but guests can bring their own disposable BBQ's-These have to be raised from the ground.Ladera Retreat Lodges reception staff will contact you prior to arrival with all the necessary check in details.

The smell was unbearable. This was blamed on the recent emptying of drains, but the damaged and bowed internal walls clearly evidenced a prior leak and the smell it created was awful. We should’ve know from the text before arrival advising we needed to report issues on arrival and the bathroom windows being open. We were initially offered a discount to stay, but the lodge was not habitable and so we left early. Overall not very clean and the lodge (44) should not have been available for bookings. The listing is also inaccurate re a washing machine, I think riverwood is supposed to say riverside. Deposit return had to be chased. Very disappointed and whilst I never write negative reviews, I think it’s important to share this.
