What our customers say about their holidays

    • Tracy - Verified booking

The location of the property is perfect and in a lovely quiet cul de sac.

The owner could not be present at check in which we didn’t mind at all. However when contacted he asked me if we could put the bins out on Thursday. They actually get collected on a Wednesday-luckily the neighbour had put it out. I was quite uncomfortable with the neighbour directly opposite having a key to the property as they could see when we weren’t in. The ‘gym’ is pointless. The pull up bar is half hanging off the wall and unsafe. The patio furniture was in a pile outside and unusable. The toilet seat in main bathroom was dirty and broken. My daughter nearly hurt herself on this. The sockets in main bedroom don’t work-not one close to the mirror to do hair/makeup. The lights above the beds some work some don’t. There are no property instruction/welcome pack so we had no idea that the heating in the living/dining room was actually the skirting boards. The kitchen was grubby-used scourer pads and bits of ‘stuff’ just left on window bottom. The sofa in the living room is extremely uncomfortable. Both showers in bathroom and en-suite were dirty with the shower curtain over the bath needing to be thrown away with dirt and marks along the bottom. Every tap had limescale build up. We did enjoy our week away but did not enjoy our time spent inside the property. The smoke alarm upstairs is hanging off the ceiling-not sure if it functions. We did not contact the owner for any issues as we felt they could not have been resolved during our stay. The property needs a refurbishment.

      Good points - very clean.

Comfortable beds, nice garden. Good solid furniture. Beautiful area, with nice neighbours. 3 good Frying pans and one saute pan. Cutlery and utensils brand new. Bad points - no sockets work in ensuite bedroom. One of the double sockets in the kitchen doesn't work or the sockets in the garden nor one of them in the single room.. Only one pan, so couldn't do potatoes and veg, you had to pick which one you'd prefer. And there was no colander. One of the pillow cases in the double room had a lot of black stuff on it. The downstairs toilets overflow kept on going so the person above could not get to sleep for it. We couldn't get into the house till just after 4pm instead of 3pm. The cleaner and the owner finally left but had to call him back immediately as we couldn't get out the patio door, he came back immediately and fixed it. He then said his wife told him to cut the grass when he was there as it desperately needed done. We finally got the house to ourselves after 5pm. He did say we didn't have to leave until 11am on departure day instead of 10am. If all these were fixed then it would be an excellent house to holiday in. It's close to all amenities, superstore within 1mile, cleevlies and Fleetwood all within a few miles, and the big shopping experience at Freeport is just a few miles away too. The house is beautiful and spacious and room for 3 cars in the driveway. The

Having Beach House withdrawals already !

What a lovely property.Fantastic sea views from the Lounge and front bedrooms. The sea front is spotless with beautiful works of art placed along the promenade. The house is really clean and warm with plenty of hot water. comfortable beds with nice quality bedding and a well equipped kitchen. Situated in a really quiet location but a 2 minute walk from the high street. There are plenty of small shops and places to eat. A 10 minute walk to the tram or bus stop with a £4 all day rider ticket to use on any bus or tram,so very easy to get around Blackpool without having to take the car, with a bonus that the illuminations are now on until January. Would highly recommend The Venue and Pulcinella as places to eat locally. Unsah the owner is there every step of your holiday with great communication at all times. A big Thank-you. We hope to stay again.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the standard of this property.

The cleanliness could not be faulted. It was more spacious than I thought it would be. The facilities were good and the kitchen equipment also good. The cafes and shops were very near and of course the beach was just across the road. We all love being by the sea. Despite some awful weather [what does one expect on this coast at this time of year? ] we had a good time walking in the rain and knowing there was a cosy place to go back to. On the three days when we had lovely weather we had an even better time including a morning cuppa on the balcony. Whilst there we visited Anchorsholme park and cafe, and the quirky and interesting museum at Fleetwood. We walked along to the tableaus [illuminations] with the children and got a tram back. It was far preferable than having to drive home afterwards. A very refreshing and relaxing week.

Had a lovely family stay at the Beach House, it had everything we required.

The location was perfect, 2 minute walk to bus station, 10 minute walk to tram stop and main shopping street just round the corner. We purchased 7 day tram/bus passes and never had to use our cars for the whole week. Ideal location for Fleetwood and Blackpool. The house is well equipped, everything you require for a comfortable stay and the owner Unsah was very friendly and helpful. The 2 car parking spaces are ideal for families travelling to the Beach House as they are right at the front door. The views from Beach House are outstanding with unobstructed views right along the coast which can be enjoyed from the upstairs windows and the balcony. Would recommend the Beach House for a comfortable family holiday.

There’s also a Madame Tussaud’s waxworks gallery and a tower dungeon for those who can brave it! It’s a great place for a family day out and you’ll find plenty of other attractions to keep you entertained in the surrounding area.

    Blackpool Zoo
As well as an incredible range of mammals, birds and reptiles, you’ll also find play areas, a mini-golf course, bouncy castle and multiple cafes and shops scattered throughout the zoo’s 32-acre grounds. The little ones will just love a ride on the miniature train, which chugs its way past enclosures containing wallabies, wolves, zebras, ostriches and Red River hogs, as well as a couple of dinosaurs!

    Lytham Windmill Museum

The Lytham Windmill was built in the early 1800s and remained working until 1919 when a storm broke its sails. After years of dereliction it was restored by the local council and opened to the public. It is run by a group of volunteers. The museum is spread over 4 floors of the windmill, and displays historic artefacts about the windmill's life and local history. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. Lytham Green, East Beach, Lytham. FY8 5LD

St Annes Pier opened in 1885, and is an ornate victorian pier. Attractions on the pier include children's rides, cafes, kiosks, arcades, restaurants, shops, seating and toilets. Accessible routes and toilets. The Promenade, St Annes-on-Sea, Lytham St Annes. FY8 2NG
