Well equipped property in good condition and peaceful area. One or two minor housekeeping issues: lamp in living room only came on on alternate days. Final day the radiators appeared to turn themselves on. As we tried to adjust the thermostat, the temperature on it kept going up unbidden. Ironing board could do with a new, thicker cover that doesn't slip off. Maybe also consider an extra armchair for the living room, as the property sleeps five but the seating is comfortably only for four. A blind or curtains at the back french window would also have been appreciated. Children peered in from the field on the first evening. All in all, we liked the property a lot and it was generally well maintained with everything on hand.

We were a group of 4 adults, a toddler and a baby staying to see relatives at Christmas and there was plenty of room for us all. The cottage was beautifully decorated (and we really appreciated the festive decorations!) and was extremely clean. We would definitely recommend it.

We had a party of 5 of us which included 3 teenagers and there was enough space for them to find their own peace and bury their heads in their phones! Location wise we found it perfect for our needs going to liverpool, Blackpool and the lakes. We had a great time and the neighbour's had a chat with us about where to go to eat and drink, we all really enjoyed ourselves, we would definitely recommend the cottage.
