In Lancashire's Ribble Valley, a little rural community called Langho may be found. The village is divided into two halves, the old and the new. The new Langho was created when the railway was built in the middle of the 19th century, transforming it into a small but nevertheless active commercial centre. Since the Old Langho church was deemed to be too far away, the new church of St. Leonard was constructed in 1879. However, since the construction of the A59 roundabout, even the new church is now somewhat isolated. The historic area of the hamlet is regarded as a true gem, rich in history for tourists to discover. The mediaeval church of St. Leonard was constructed using masonry from Whalley Abbey, which was destroyed in 1537 on Henry viii's orders. The village has a few little stores, a school, and pubs and restaurants. The larger area, however, has a wealth of attractions to explore, such as Longridge Fell, which is located at the southern tip of the Forest of Bowland aonb. Its summit is perched above a patch of wild forestry and offers stunning views to the north and west, particularly of Fair Snape Fell and the Trough of Bowland. The Dean Clough Resevoir offers further walking paths as well as cycling and mountain riding with some breathtaking scenery, while nearby Whalley offers wonderful walking at Spring Wood and has a fantastic golf club. There are several stores and restaurants in Clitheroe, and you can also visit Clitheroe Castle while you're there. Only 15 miles away in the small village of Turton, on the outskirts of the West Pennine Moors, is Turton Tower, a typical English country house that displays remnants from the Tudor and early Stuart eras. This magnificent region of the North West has a lot to offer, whether you feel like taking a leisurely stroll, going out on a wild night, or learning a lot about history. It encompasses a charming village where you may base your vacation.

So happy when we arrived and seen how beautiful the place was. Attention to detail was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a few days away with the family.

Sofas in both rooms are massive and can get you all on. Everything in the house is to a very high standard/quality. House was spotlessly clean. Lots of crockery and glasses, you will never run out! Bedrooms are all large with plenty of hanging space in each room. (If you have got a lot of hanging items, take some extra hangers) Beds are really comfy. Towels for each person were on the bed. Dressing gowns and slippers in wardrobe. Views are amazing when sat in the hot tub!! This is an amazing property, you won’t be disappointed!! One very minor issue, it’s quite hard to find with the postcode. Everyone of us got lost, so did the Tesco home delivery guy, and the takeout guy, local taxi driver. When you are getting close look for a small sign for dewhurst farm. Lookout for the house, think there are 4 very large stone houses together, turn up the gravel road. Other than that you will have an amazing time.
