Great location for exploring the coast and Co Durham. We used it as a base for attending a concert in Gateshead, a very straightforward journey. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well furnished, including plenty of kitchen equipment. Instructions for appliances were provided. Two very minor quibbles: clearer instructions for the storage heaters and two bedside lamps either side of the bed would have enhanced our stay even more. Appreciated being left milk, ground coffee and Rocky Road. We would definitely return.

The cottage is very homely, warm and is even better than the pictures suggest. Mark & Marian left us some nice wine, beer and some freshly baked treats. Thanks again.
