Generous welcome pack was a lovely surprise. Within walking distance to the town with numerous shops/pubs/restaurants. Great dog walks nearby and of course almost next to the fantastic Bowes Museum. Property was very clean and extremely comfortable. One of the best cottages I've stayed in. I would definitely return. A credit to the owner.
