Snaptrip says

The Look Out offers a stunning beachfront location with impressive views, appreciated by many guests. The friendly staff and proximity to local amenities add to the charm of the property. While some guests have highlighted areas for improvement, the unique setting and the warmth of the accommodation have provided a memorable experience for visitors.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Cleanliness has received mixed feedback. Some guests found the property to be basically clean with fresh bedding and towels, while others noted the presence of dog hairs, sandy floors, and a general need for a more thorough cleaning. The inconsistency in cleanliness has led to a slightly above average score.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and the peaceful atmosphere it provides. Guests have enjoyed the easy access to the beach, the sound of the waves, and the stunning views. The unique setting on the beachfront is a highlight for many visitors.

Comfort levels are generally good, with guests finding the bed comfortable and the property warm. However, some guests mentioned issues with noise from the sea and a floodlight affecting sleep, as well as the lack of a towel rail in the bathroom. Overall, the comfort experience is positive but with room for improvement.

Facilities have been described as adequate with self-catering options and a warm environment. However, guests have reported maintenance issues such as loose taps, lack of information on appliance usage, and the need for a lick of paint. The presence of a restaurant nearby is a plus, but the maintenance issues have affected the score.

There is insufficient information to accurately assess thoughtfulness. While some guests mentioned a lack of promised gifts such as prosecco, there is not enough consistent feedback on thoughtful touches or gifts to provide a score. It should be noted that while gifts are mentioned, they are not guaranteed.

We both had a wonderful stay. Its roomy enough for 2 people as a base. The staff at the Grotto Pub were friendly and the food was lovely there too... amazing views of the sea... it was exactly what we needed x

.sitting watching the waves was just what we needed..The seating area in the bay window is perfect.. The place was lovely and warm ..the bed was super comfy.. However..I feel I need to comment on a few issues ..and they are actually so simple to rectify but I feel were important. The first impression and entrance /patio area looked like it hadn’t been swept or cleaned in months..We didn’t sit out at the front as it looked grubby.. The windows were filthy and also hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The floor in the apartment was slightly dirty and gritty too in places as if it had just had a quick superficial sweep.. Both taps in the bathroom are moving around every time you use them..and there is no hook to hang a towel on which would be useful. The bathroom was clean however. The blinds in the bedrooom are a problem ..they do not cut out the security light outside as they leave a gap and so you don’t know it’s dark outside as it’s so bright. There is a black out blind in the wardrobe to attach yourself..but it’s too small..Also the catch on one window is broken and the window doesn’t shut. We noticed in the fridge there was no ice box which would have been useful. The layout in the kitchen/living room area could have been better and a small bistro table and 2 chairs as we had to eat on our knees …we didn’t need 12 plates either..

People coming to this property would benefit from ear plugs to help them sleep. The black out curtain is helpful and the views are amazing. Shame about the car park fees and having the climb the stairs every morning to pay the fee . The staff were very friendly.
