For excellent walking and cycling opportunities, head into the North York Moors National Park, where you can follow the renowned Cleveland Way, hike up imposing peaks and visit the bustling town of Whitby, where you will find the Gothic Whitby Abbey, 199 Steps, Whitby Museum and fine dining at the Michelin Star The Star Inn The Harbour. All this and more awaits at Number 10.

Due to its sandy beaches and glacial boulder clay coastline, Saltburn-by-the-Sea is aptly termed the Victorian seaside resort. This small town sits at the northernmost tip of the North York Moors and has an elegant elegance about it thanks to a spectacular steep curving roadway that runs from the town centre to the beach. Attracting visitors from all walks of life thanks to its long pier and distinctive cliff lift, this quaint seaside town has something for everyone. Many independent stores, cafes, and restaurants can be found in the newly renovated town centre. Take in the views from the high promenade or take a stroll around the Valley Gardens.

Great location meant we had only to look out the window and open the door to welcome the beautiful sights that Saltburn had to offer. We celebrated the new year here and great facilities meant cooking and eating in the apartment was really enjoyable. Comfortable beds meant a great nights sleep too. We will definitely be coming back as we visit Saltburn every year and this will be our first choice now.

Living room is a fabulous space with large dining table - there is a smaller dining table in the kitchen which is ideal if you have kids as it's lino so easier to clean up! Both bedrooms are lovely - our kids love the bunk beds! The main bedroom is huge! Living room has lovely views of the beach. Apartment is handy for restaurants, shops, cliff lift & pier. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

The location of the property was perfect for us and the parking space was a bonus. We were pleasantly surprised with the restaurants, cafes and shops on the doorstep and tried a few of them out. Unfortunately the weather was not good to us so on this occasion we never made it to the beach but we enjoyed watching the waves from the apartment!
