The bathroom and kitchen are decorated and furnished to a high standard.

Very stylishly decorated and appointed. The kitchen was fine, though we only used it for breakfast. There was an excellent welcome pack including wine and cookies. The parking space was OK for our Skoda Octavia, if a little tight! Rothbury is a good base to explore a beautiful part of Northumberland. We visited Cragside, Alnwick, Warkworth, Hadrian’s Wall, did an evening walk to Dunstanburgh Castle from Craster, and Brinkburn Priory. The town has a good range of shops and places to eat – the chippy was excellent, Tapas night at the Newcastle on Tuesday, Bewick’s did a good lunch, the Queen’s Head a good Sunday lunch and the Turks Head had loads of room and a good range of dishes.

Beautifully presented with absolutely everything we could possibly need provided for. A sensational location right in the heart of the village, which allowed us to park the car and enjoy all the restaurants and amenities within just a minute to two’s walk.
