Seahouses 0.8 miles. The Haven is a charming, stone-built cottage resting in the village of North Sunderland, near Seahouses. This quaint property is close to the coast and ideal for friends or a family looking to explore the coast of Northumberland. Be welcomed into a hallway with Laura Ashley wallpaper and make your way over to a simply delightful living/dining room, with characterful exposed brick walls housing a multi-fuel stove, an ideal spot to recline with a good book after a long day of exploring, and here you can also enjoy a hearty meal. The kitchen has ample amenities to cater to your culinary needs, and there is the option of heading out into the rear courtyard and dining alfresco in the sunshine. When sleep calls, enjoy a soak in the tub or a warm shower, before settling down for the night in one of the two bedrooms, choosing between a well-presented king-size, and a twin zip/link which can be set up as a super king-size on request, there is also a pull-out bed suitable for a child in this room.

A bench on the front patio gives you the option to sit and enjoy your morning coffee. North Sunderland is a village on the outskirts of Seahouses, offering a local pub, The Longstone House Hotel, where you can enjoy a glass of your favourite beverage. Seahouses is a great place to start your Northumberland adventure, offering a delightful harbour, Bell’s Point beach, a local golf course, and a selection of eateries, and there is also a convenience store for all of your holiday essentials. Enjoy coastal boat tours, checking out the landscape and local wildlife, or head over to Beadnell Bay Beach for a day spent beside the seaside. A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, not to be missed. The Northumberland Coast Path offers stunning walking and hiking opportunities where you can soak in the scenic coastal trails with breath-taking views, whilst the nearby Seahouses Golf Club offers a wonderful spot to practice your swing or play a round or two amidst the coastal backdrop. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick, well-known for its appearances in the much-loved Harry Potter films, to mention just a few.
