Outside, there are delightful gardens ideal for soaking up any Northumberland sunshine and there is even a cool roof terrace with plenty of seating just waiting for you to sit back, relax and breathe in some rejuvenating sea air. When it’s time for bed, choose from three super-king-sizes all with TVs so you don’t need to miss any telly, and all superbly presented. Right in the centre of Seahouses, the property is in the ideal setting for exploring the delights of the region with the stunning beaches of the Northumberland Heritage Coast close by. The delightful fishing village of Seahouses has its own harbour and is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village of Bamburgh is well worth a visit too, famous for its imposing castle but which also has a good selection of shops and amenities. Close by there are miles of sandy beaches to explore and boat trips run daily from Seahouses to Farne islands where you can look out for birds and seals. Further afield there are magnificent castles to discover such as Dunstanburgh, Warkworth, Lindisfarne and Cragside, with towns such as the historic market town of Alnwick; Alnmouth known for its excellent golf course; and the farming hamlet of Howick which is known for being the birthplace of Earl Grey tea. A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
