Seahouses is a lovely seaside town with a lot on offer for guests, beginning with the selection of eateries and pubs, where you can enjoy a family meal out. There is a close by beach, ideal for walking, wild swimming and watersports, as well as a selection of coastal and countryside walks and Seahouses Harbour and Annstead Dunes Nature Reserve. Travel a little further to the historic town of Bamburgh and you will be able to visit the magnificent castle and wonderful local sandy beaches, and there is also the option to take a day trip to Holy Island and check out the incredible Lindisfarne Priory and castle. A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed.
