Anchor Point is perfect for two couples or a family with teenage children looking for a seaside bolthole. The Beach is on the doorstep and boat trips run to the nearby Farne Islands, famous for it’s seabirds and grey seal colony.

This beautiful area of Northumberland is awash with castles and market towns all within easy reach. Just 3 miles north is the impressive Bamburgh Castle which dramatically clings to a rocky outcrop. Seahouses in Beadnell Bay with its unique west facing harbour is a great spot for sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. It’s 5 miles to Holy Island and Lindisfarne and golf, fishing and horse riding are all available locally.
