Rothbury Cottage is praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and prime location in Morpeth, offering easy access to local attractions and amenities. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and the quiet, cosy atmosphere. The property is ideal for both relaxing and exploring the Northumberland countryside and coastline.
Guests consistently mention the exceptional cleanliness of the cottage, describing it as spotless and well-maintained.
The cottage's location is highly regarded for its proximity to local shops, restaurants, and attractions like Cragside, with easy access to walks and the Northumberland countryside.
Reviews highlight the comfortable beds and cosy atmosphere, though one guest suggested a larger TV would enhance the comfort for families with children.
The property is well-furnished and equipped with essentials for self-catering, including a variety of entertainment options. However, a mention of a smelly mop and the absence of a coffee machine suggest minor room for improvement.
While the reviews indicate a well-equipped property with plenty of amenities, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness.

Really enjoyed our stay here and hope to return. Comfy beds. 1 minute walk from the highstreet but is quiet with handy parking. Lovely river walks too. Short walk to Co-op, also La Mensa, and fish & chip shop, would highly recommend both. Short drive to the amazing Cragside where we went multiple times!

A definite home from home. Everything we needed to self cater for the week. Location, in centre of Rothbury and minutes from shops, pubs & restaurants, was perfect for what we wanted; exploring the area. NT Cragside was 5 mins away, NT Wallington 20 mins, Alnwick (castle & gardens) 30 mins, Bamburgh castle and the stunning Northumberland Coastline only 45 mins. We ran out of days well before things to do, so well just have to come back. And this lovely cottage will be our first choice
