Snaptrip says

Manderine Lodge is praised for its well-equipped kitchen, beautiful location, and hot tub. Guests enjoyed the surrounding countryside and proximity to attractions. Some noted the lodge's cleanliness and maintenance could be improved, but overall, the experience was positive with recommendations for future stays.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The lodge received mixed feedback on cleanliness. Some guests found it clean, while others noted issues like mould, stains, and a dirty veranda. The positive comments suggest good general upkeep, but the negatives indicate room for improvement.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful countryside, walks, and nearby beaches and attractions. The only minor issue mentioned was the muddy walk to a local bar, but this does not significantly detract from the overall appreciation of the setting.

Comfort received positive remarks for the living space and homeliness, but some guests reported worn furniture and uncomfortable seating. The balance of feedback suggests a generally comfortable experience with some areas needing attention.

Facilities are well-regarded, especially the kitchen and hot tub. However, guests noted maintenance issues like a weak shower, noisy extractor, and outdated TV. The overall sentiment remains positive, with specific points highlighted for improvement.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category accurately.

It could be improved by putting a path instead of the muddy road.

It was a very good price, good size, homely and would recommend this accommodation. I will definately be booking again in the near future.

However, the carpet in the sitting area was very badly stained and the settee was well worn and not at all comfortable to sit in for any length of time. The tap was loose on the handbasin of the en-suite shower room and the shower hose kept coming off the shower head when in use. The shower in the main bathroom was not good either. The kitchen and dining area were good with plenty of space for cooking and dining and we made good use of the veranda, although that could have done with a really good clean as it was really quite dirty, espescially when compared to our neighbouring lodges. All in all, we enjoyed our stay as the park is set in lovely woodland and a good location for visiting local attractions, however not in Manderine Lodge as it is really looking a bit tired.
