Snaptrip says

Barnacre is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its comfort, cleanliness, and spaciousness, accommodating large groups and families with ease. Guests enjoyed the comfortable beds, ensuite bathrooms, and the property's beautiful setting. The outdoor spaces, including a private courtyard and large garden, were highlights, as were the property's proximity to local attractions and beaches. Some minor issues with kitchen size and appliance efficiency were noted, but overall, guests look forward to returning and highly recommend the property.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'lovely and clean' and 'very clean'. One mention of a full vacuum cleaner suggests a slight deduction, but overall, the cleanliness is highly regarded.

The location is frequently praised for its quiet, beautiful village setting and proximity to local attractions, shopping facilities, and beaches. The ease of access to Northumberland's coastline and visitor attractions is also appreciated.

Guests find the property very comfortable, with special mentions of the comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and well-appointed bedrooms. The presence of multiple lounges and a large lawn adds to the overall comfort.

While the property is generally well-equipped, there are several comments about the kitchen and appliances not being adequate for large groups. The oven and dishwasher were specifically mentioned as areas for improvement. However, the availability of Sky TV, good laundry facilities, and a pool table were positively noted.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Everyone had plenty of space and single storey living worked well with small children.

Easy access to surrounding areas and also a bus stop straight outside.

It’s a beautiful spacious property and very comfortable and clean. Bedrooms are large and en suite and lovely walk in showers. It’s in a quiet peaceful village and easy to access Northumberland’s coastline and visitor attractions. The only slight disadvantage it has is the small kitchen. Not room for more than 4 to sit at a table in a compact space. It also meant a walk down a corridor to carry meals down to the dining room. But overall a 5 star property..
