It was central to all the areas that we wanted to see in our first visit to Northumberland i.e., Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle, Beaches, National Park etc. After a long day the property was lovely to return to, very quaint with all the comfort & amenities provided. The hosts obviously show a lot of attention to detail in making sure everything is provided. I would definitely recommend this property.

Only slight gripe is the absence of a garden umbrella - it was very hot in the September sun!

The cottage is well positioned, quiet (despite being on a road), near good eateries (The Barn at Beal and the Blue Bell), easy access to the coast with a !ovely distant view of the sea. It is characterful and comfortable.. There have been some previous review comments about cleanliness. We found it clean in all the essentials but it is time for a good spring clean and some sprucing up. When we had an issue with internet access (BT) the owner was very helpful and sorted thngs promptly. Overall a very pleasurable stay.
