The attractive market town of Wooler is 5.5 miles where you’ll find a fantastic range of independent shops on the bustling high street, and a great choice of pubs, cafes, and restaurants. There are breathtaking walks with dramatic views all around the local area, including a section of St. Cuthbert’s Way. Take a trip to the Scottish Borders and enjoy a day at the races at nearby Kelso (15 miles). For some fresh sea air head to the historic town of Bamburgh (21 miles), where you can explore the impressive castle on the cliff, wander along the white sand beach, and enjoy long walks along the Heritage Coast.
