A little gem if you need to recharge your batteries. This quiet little cabin will give you the space, comfort and tranquil location to do it in. Lots of local places to visit close by. Try a wild river dip in Allenbanks, just minutes away. You won't be disappointed. The cabin has a real character and homely feel, with personal touches that make you feel settled and at ease as soon as you enter it. The bed is really comfortable and everything you need it there. Kitchen is well equipped with a small fridge with a small inbuilt freezer compartment., washing machine, and microwave with hob and cooker. All clean on arrival. The hot tub is a real treat and was clean and ready for us to use. Then there's the garden. The pictures don't do it justice. You meander through a wooded glade, pass the zen garden, all private, to the paddock at the end and the view opens up to greet you. All fully enclosed so you can let your dog run freely. Outside the cabin there is a lane, that has very little farm traffic during the day, but nothing at night. You never hear anything in the cabin itself and was lovely to walk the dog along and take in the views on an evening. I had the whole lane to myself. The owner is so friendly, but not intrusive and on hand if you need her.
