We stayed in this lovely log cabin for 4 nights, and throughly enjoyed our stay. It was well equipped, cosy and very comfortable and in a beautiful and peaceful location. The gardens were gorgeous, and the views from the cabin were superb. Hadrians Wall is a couple of miles from the cabin, and there is also a train station at Bardon Mill which we took advantage of for a day trip to Carlisle.Shirley was an excellent host, and her communication prior to our visit was excellent. If you are seeking a great location close to Hexham and enjoy walking in beautiful countryside, then this is the place to go to. We would definitely return and recommend

This was a really good find, nice cabin with lots of character. Spacious enough for 2 adults & we have 2 rescue puppy dogs which love to run about. Couldn't fault the outside grounds, spacious garden with a private paddock. Hot tub was clean, lovely & hot & maintained during our stay. The complimentary bottle of wine & Easter egg on arrival was a nice touch. We would come back & stay again. My only criticism is there was just enough kindling & only 5 split logs & considering it's a big fire needs more logs for the 1st night as it is cold. You can purchase logs from the local Spar.
