West End Cottage in Embleton is highly praised for its comfort, well-equipped facilities, and thoughtful touches such as welcome packs. Guests appreciate the property's location, ideal for beach walks and local amenities. The secure garden is a hit with dog owners, and the cottage's cosiness is often mentioned. Some minor issues with heating controls and maintenance are noted, but overall, guests are delighted with their stays and many plan to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests finding it well-presented. There is a single mention of dust and cobwebs, suggesting room for improvement, but this does not seem to detract significantly from the overall experience.

The location is consistently lauded for its proximity to the beach, local pubs, and the village's amenities. The ease of access to coastal paths and nearby attractions contributes to the high score.

Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with a particularly comfortable bed and a peaceful environment. The spacious living area and bedroom are appreciated, although there are some comments about the heating which suggest minor comfort issues.

The cottage is well-equipped, with a special mention for the welcome pack and kitchen facilities. However, there are several remarks about the heating system and the need for clearer instructions, as well as minor maintenance issues like the gate catch and shower location, which slightly lower the score.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is evident in the welcome packs, which include homemade cakes and treats for dogs. While these are highly appreciated, it is noted that such gifts, though delightful, are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
