Great couple of minor points to make it even better. Could do with a couple of Pyrex type dishes for microwave use would save on electricity. The stair treads are narrow it would be a lot safer if the dado rail going up the stairs was replaced with hand grip type bannister to match the other side.

A very cosy cottage in a peaceful location. Lovely soaps and a wonderful welcome basket with yummy goodies! Thank you for that. The only negative was the dark, east facing living room, which was fine in the early morning but very dark the rest of the day. Please replace the front door with glass to let the afternoon sun through. Stairs to bedrooms were a bit steep as well but manageable. It was great to walk about the hotel grounds every morning and have some drinks there in the evening. We also booked a spa day which was great too. Ten minutes from Beadnell beach which was the best one around and five minutes from Chathill train station, which meant that one could have a day trip further south or north.Thank you again for a lovely stay !
