There are also a variety of beautiful coastal walks and cycle trails up through Seahouses and Bamburgh, and down towards Newton by the Sea, Embleton, and Craster. Take a short drive inland to the historic market town of Alnwick with its magnificent castle and gardens or a little further afield you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Cheviots in Northumberland National Park.

On the Beach 3 in Beadnell is a gem of a holiday let! It was beautifully clean and equipped as if we were the first ones there. Each room is bright and spacious and decorated with paintings of local scenes. Both bedrooms have blackout blinds ensuring you can sleep as long as you need to. The biggest plus has to be its location though - literally on the beach. The house has its own set of steep steps down to the beach which makes heading down to the beach with the kids so much easier! We would highly recommend this property.

It was wonderful to be able to get up in the morning and walk down the steps to the beach for my morning coffee, or to have a nice glass of wine at twilight with the sound of the waves. On the beach was a great location, a walk from the main watersports beach of Beadnell and a 5 minute drive to Seahouses. Ideal for a relaxing break.
