Resting close to the seafront in Beadnell in Northumberland, McTash Cottage is a delightful single-storey holiday home which offers guests a well-presented holiday home, ideal for a family holiday. The open-plan living space is warm and inviting with ample seating, polished wood flooring and an attractive open fire, an area where you can imagine guests gathering together and getting into the holiday vibe. Step into the stylish kitchen which is fully fitted with all that is needed for producing hearty food for the whole family and when it’s time to serve up, there is an elegant dining area ready for guests to pull up a chair and look forward to long, relaxing meals together. If you want to keep the chef company then there are stools at the breakfast bar or if you want a less formal dining area. The adjoining patio doors help to bring the outside in, so on warm days you can throw open the doors and breathe in the fresh Northumberland air or you can eat and drink outdoors in the attractive gardens. There is plenty of space for children and pets to run around while adults can chill out and there is even a barbecue if you want to indulge in some alfresco dining. A great alternative space if you want to get away from it all is the conservatory which is bright and airy and just perfect for curling up with a good book and enjoying some ‘me’ time. Come bedtime and there are two charming bedrooms to choose from, a double for the grown-ups and twin bedroom for the kids. Both bedrooms offer a restful sanctuary to lay your weary heads after an exhausting day of exploring, so that in the morning you’ll be refreshed and raring to go. Beadnell Bay is on the doorstep and the charming village is within a short walk. Jump in the car to visit coastal towns and villages including Seahouses, Bamburgh, Warkworth and Alnmouth. Jump in the car for a scenic drive to attractions such as Bamburgh Castle, Hadrian’s Wall, Northumberland Country Zoo, Dunstanburgh Castle, Alnwick Castle and Gardens and you can even take a boat trip to Farne Islands where you might get sightings of unusual birds and even seals. If you’re looking for a holiday home that offers the full range of home comforts in a stunning coastal setting, then you’ve come to the right place with a stay at McTash Cottage.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.

..great for our 2 dogs and fantastic walks from the front door. Helpful neighbours too. The sea swimming didn't pan out because of the harsh NE wind so only got in once. Lovely place to stay and local eating places are excellent. Definitely back soon for a hat trick !

Full if owners belongings. Had no follow up feedback from Seahouses office about owners response.

It has a lovely secure garden that our greyhounds loved. The area is excellent and the neighbours are very friendly giving us helpful information and directions. The beach is really close to the property and the dogs loved walking on the sand. We got some spectacular photos of the sunrise on our second day. We ate out once at the Landing but cooked other times. The Craster arms and Beadnall Towers are nice places for a drink and dog friendly. Personal preference was Beadnall towers its lovely inside and the staff were extremely friendly and professional. There is lots do do in Northumberland. The only suggestions we would make but are not negatives and are personal to us is having a frying pan and we couldn't get the tv in the bedroom to work.
