The Old Workshop is a charming, cosy cottage praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and peaceful location. Guests consistently highlight its well-equipped interior, warm atmosphere, and suitability for couples or small families, including those with dogs. The cottage serves as an excellent base for exploring Northumberland’s coast, castles, and countryside. While a few minor maintenance points are noted, such as patio weeds and a shower leak, these do not detract from the overwhelmingly positive experience. Thoughtful touches from the host and a welcoming atmosphere make this property highly recommended by previous visitors.
Cleanliness is frequently praised, with multiple guests describing the cottage as spotless, beautifully clean, and well maintained. Only one review mentions the interior as 'a little tired', but this is outweighed by the many positive comments.

The cottage is described as well equipped, with all essentials provided. Minor issues such as a leaking shower and patio weeds are mentioned but do not significantly impact the overall positive impression of the facilities.

Second time staying at the old workshop. Beautiful little place to stay in a peaceful village close. The home itself is clean and well equipped. Great location to visit places like Bamburgh and Lindisfarne as well as other surrounding beaches. Would highly recommend, we will certainly be staying again.
