Lovely one bedroom cottage in a rural setting served by a main road nearby.Nearest town is Alnwick just 15 mins drive away with supermarkets, local shops, pubs and restaurants. The cottage is well presented with only a couple of small niggles if we were being picky namely only one bedside lamp in the bedroom but overall we had an extremely pleasant stay.On arrival we had the basics ie loo roll, milk and a bottle of wine left for us. We are more than happy to recommend this cottage.

This cottage has so much potential. Unfortunately it needs a deep clean and several items need upgrading. It doesn't have carpet in the lounge area as per the photographs on the website, it has been replaced by 2 dirty & stained rugs. It's location is in a lovely spot but you can hear the road. It has a nice garden and a lovely walk directly from the cottage.

We were so looking forward to a short break away. On first impression the cottage is nice. But once you’ve settled in it becomes apparent that it needs some ‘TLC’. A coat of paint everywhere wouldn’t go a miss. The dishwasher needs a good clean, as does the oven. The work surfaces need to be replaced or sanded and re finished. On leaving the property you are requested to strip the bed. On doing so we were mortified at the state of the mattress how no one has complained about this before is beyond us. If we had seen this at the start of the stay we would have not stayed. Honestly they just need to get in there and do something about it as it is a lovely property and deserves to be treated with some love.
