An excellent, warm, comfortable spot for a quiet week away.. The internet service is good. Well located to explore the surrounding area. The TV was too smart for us (elderly couple) but Alice gave a helping hand. and will sort out any little niggles or queries. Very easy for any disabled person as it is all one level. Just make sure you use the What3words location if you need to get someone to you that doesn't know the location - the Postcode is not sufficient. We thoroughly recommend this spot.

The property was very well equipped & clean. It was full of character & tucked away on the beautiful Eslington Estate, ideal for evening walks from the door. We were really pleased to have the opportunity to use the AGA & we are complete converts. A perfect week's break

It is all on one floor and spacious with several reception areas including a large kitchen with table and chairs, comfortable lounge with large TV , dining room and spacious conservatory. As the Aga ( other cooking appliances are available) is on all your round it limited the comfort of that space in hot weather. The enclosed well kept garden also has a patio with table and chairs for social gathering. The kitchen had just about every pan and knife you need and lots of other serving spoons and spatulas, but we failed to find a cheese grater!! I have suggested that as there are ramps and it is all on one level, there should be grab handles and non slip mats in the bathrooms. There is quite a range in the feel of the bedrooms, the master being more spacious ( almost too big!) whilst one seemed more like a cell being small with an iron bedstead. All was clean and comfortable. Two bedrooms have en suite and there is an additional shower room toilet which can be accessed by the other two single bedrooms, though a bit distant from one. The welcome pack was less than most RR properties we have visited with just a jug of milk , 6 eggs and some biscuits, tea bags and instant coffee. Alice was helpful with specific requests. Beautifully peaceful with easy driving ( lots of single track lanes) and access to lots of places of interest, including the coast. We were about 45 mins from Seahouses and Bamburgh. We had a nice meal at The Bosk in a small village about 8 minutes drive. Ideal location for those enjoying rural peace and country rambles.
