This luxury, elegant apartment with views towards the sea is only 200 yards from Longsands beach one of the top beaches in England in this buzzing seaside town. Tynemouth has something for all age groups and is perfect for that much deserved short break or your annual holiday. With a choice of fabulous Blue Flag beaches favoured by surfers all year round and the charming Priory, and a lovely flat promenade stretching all along to Whitley Bay this is a wonderful place to relax and spend a few days.
All situated on the first floor with airy high ceilings, original Victorian charm and a large imposing living room, the modern kitchen fitted in 2021 has all the modern appliances including an ice maker in the fridge, coffee machine and everything you need in a modern kitchen, and two good size bedrooms. This contemporary style apartment is only three or four minutes from the centre with its abundance of restaurants, bars and cafes catering for all tastes. The large front windows are ideal for sitting looking over Percy Park Green and the sea.
Stroll along the seafront onto Whitley Bay, stopping off at the Spanish City Champagne bar perhaps on the way, Whitley bay Playhouse is home to regular music events. Whitley Bay and Tynemouth both have plenty to see and do with a Sea Life Centre, Boating Lake, Waves Swimming Pool, amusements, ice cream parlours and a good choice of shops. Tynemouth has a much-loved indoor weekend market housed in the Metro Station full of vintage collectables and is popular with locals who travel miles to visit known locally as the northern Covent garden. Nearby North Shields has a busy Fish Quay lined with seafood cafes and restaurants where you can also busy the catch of the day.
Nearby the metro takes you into Newcastle City should you wish to explore and visit the Baltic or Sage on the famous Quayside. Whilst in the North East a visit to The Angel of the North is a must as is a trip up the stunning Northumberland heritage coast to see some of the historic castles and perhaps take in a visit to Alnwick Castle to delight in some of the thrills of the Harry Potter story. There is so much to see and do in this super friendly area visitors are sure to want to return time and again.

Firstly this review is done by two seventy plus year olds so read bearing this in mind ! Stairs can take their toll if you are out often during the day it gets a 5 star rating might have been a few year back things now are starting to look a little tired , beds are really low and hard but passable no information pack after finding the bin next day it disappeared? not meaning to pull the place down as it did not spoil our holiday so if you are fit young and active could just be suitable for you would we return no we're just to old!

Spacious, clean and comfy apartment with sea views and perfect location to explore. Well equipped and welcome bottle of wine a lovely treat. Open green at front perfect for dogs with long walks along sea front. Found a great dog wash up past the castle in Tynemouth that is worth noting. Look forward to my next visit.

We stayed at the apartment for 4 nights and that was not enough to just enjoy the beautiful views both inside and out. It has everything you could need for a great stay. The owners had gone to a lot of trouble to make it really lovely. We had an issue with one of the beds but the owners have replied quickly and I'm sure it will be rectified in no time.
