The enclosed garden is appreciated by pet owners, and the welcome packs are a delightful touch. The property offers a comfortable and homely stay, making it a favourite for many who plan to return.

Cleanliness

The cottage is consistently described as clean and tidy, with only one mention of the carpets needing a clean and some cutlery not being perfectly washed. Overall, the high level of cleanliness contributes positively to the guests' experiences.

Location

The location is well-received for its proximity to Newcastle, Durham, and local attractions like Beamish and Causey Arch. The scenic views and countryside walks are highlights, although one review mentioned difficulty finding the cottage via Sat Nav.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of comfy beds and a cosy atmosphere. There are minor suggestions for additional lamps and larger saucepans, but overall, the comfort level is highly regarded.

Facilities

The facilities are generally praised, especially the well-equipped kitchen. However, there are comments about the water pressure, the need for a shaver point, and a shower curtain to prevent water spillage. These small issues slightly affect the overall excellent perception of the facilities.
