The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning its very clean condition.
The location is described as peaceful and beautiful, with nice views and easy access to local areas, contributing to a positive experience.
Comfort receives a lower score due to mixed feedback. While the cottage is generally seen as comfortable, there are several mentions of an uncomfortable bed and issues with the shower and toilet seat.
Facilities have room for improvement. Guests reported problems with the fridge/freezer, washing machine, and oven. However, the owners were responsive to issues, and parking is convenient.

Is within easy reach of the main A181, giving easy access to the wider area. I used this a base for my continuing walk around the coast of the UK. This time between Staithes and South Shields. I would recommend this property
