A great base for exploring. The main reason I have not given this holiday bungalow 5 stars is the lack of Wi-Fi. Whilst this is beyond the owners control, it does need to be high-lighted. Had I realised, I could have planned accordingly. That said, the owners live next door to the property and are very helpful and friendly. The surrounding area is beautiful countryside and outstanding views. I would suggest stopping on the way to collect food/nibbles prior to arrival as the village, whilst quaint, only has a small shop and the bungalow has everything you need for self catering, but no welcome pack. There are plenty of places to visit nearby and lots of walks. We did see a train station and bus stop within walking distance, but would suggest that to really get around from here you need a car!
