There was everything you needed and the owner had provided a welcome basket and lots of information on the area. The cottage was close to the village which had everything you needed from pubs, cafes, co op and butchers to a lovely gallery and craft shops. Within easy reach of Barnard castle and Raby and scenic walks to high force and high cup nick and an old cycle/walking railway line to Cotherstone. Perfect.
