Nestled peacefully in the heart of traditional farm meadows in the beautiful Waveney Valley, Victoria is a fabulous converted railway goods wagon that has been lovingly and eco-sensitively restored to provide a fantastic off-grid glamping experience, without compromising on luxury or heritage. What's in a name? Originally built during the age of steam, Victoria is part of the train that once delivered milk from the dairy to London and has been re-imagined as the perfect romantic retreat for two.

Step through the french doors and history is brought to life. The original timbers have been lovingly preserved while the industrial iron work has been restored and buffed to a soft sheen. In contrast, the William Morris-inspired wallpaper - another nod to Victoria’s heritage - echoes the soft and calming hues of the panelling. On cooler evenings, after a day exploring the working farm and the beautiful surrounding countryside, you can snuggle up on the comfortable bespoke sofa with a mug of hot chocolate - the wood burning stove will be sure you keep warm and toasty.

In the long summer evenings, pull up a chair on the generous west-facing deck - it’s a gorgeous spot for a “sun-downer”. Relax and watch the barn owls quartering the fields as the sun sets or why not try your hand at cooking alfresco – the firepit is the perfect way to hone your skills and experiment with some the fabulous local produce.

There’s ample hot water in the en-suite shower room to soothe any aching muscles you may have developed during the day and when sleep finally beckons, the sofa will quickly and easily convert into a double bed – the perfect place to dream about the adventures that lie ahead of you tomorrow. The kettle is within easy reach for that all-important first brew to set you up for the day.
