About this property

What better mix than to be able to explore the magnificent world famous gardens at Bressingham at your leisure and relax and enjoy the elegant and imposing Bressingham Hall

Step back to an age of glamour, sophistication and luxury. The warm and ultra-welcoming Bressingham Hall offers comfort and spacious accommodation. From the moment you sweep down the drive you will see the beauty and creativity of the splendid manicured gardens. The Grade II listed mansion house stands proud and handsome, the striking ivy-covered façade a sight to behold.

Welcome to Bressingham Hall, set in 12 acres of beautiful tended gardens that flourish throughout the seasons. The pretty rural landscapes of the Waveney Valley of South Norfolk can be enjoyed by foot or on bicycle from the edge of the grounds.

A grand staircase leads you to the spacious bedrooms which are superbly lit by natural light, thrown through the large original sash and bay windows. Tall ceilings adorned by chandeliers, beautifully decorated and furnished bedrooms with period furniture and brand new king size beds or convenient singles for teenagers and children. Full size single guest beds pop up to deliver even more sleeping options, with a cot available for tots.

En-suite bathrooms for all but two of the bedrooms give guests a great deal of privacy. Super-sized double walk-in showers and gorgeous roll-top baths lend to the feel of utter decadence.

Pretty, intricate and decorative fireplaces grace each room, a wonderful feature saved from years ago. Dado rails, mouldings and some floorboards have been sympathetically preserved. The furnishings complement and reflect the bygone era.

Both the formal drawing and dining room will play host to the smartest drinks reception or supper whilst a snug, equipped with squishy, relaxing and informal sofas, bean bags and chairs will be the bolt hole for nights in front of the TV or children looking for a den to play and hide from their parents.

What better treat for garden lovers, the ultimate getaway – to stay in a garden open to all – but you can call it your own even when the gates are closed. Impressive at any time, this would be the perfect choice for a special family get together, an important birthday or any celebration. Just imagine the stunning memories you will take away from these surroundings, your souvenir of a special break away at Bressingham. (Please note: the gardens are open from 23 March to 30 October 2016, daily from 10.30am to 5.00pm)

Bressingham Hall is as good, if not better than the photos on Mulberry Cottages website. It had excellent home from home comforts, well equipped, clean and a perfect venue to celebrate with family.
