Winterton’s circular walks and nature reserve, as well as fishing, boat trips and boat hire on the beautiful Norfolk Broads, are all nearby. Visit the grey seal colony and their pups at Horsey Gap Beach (between November and February) ot the traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth, 18 miles. Alternatively, visit the fine city of Norwich, 20 miles, with its castle, cathedral, museums, theatres and shopping. Walking, sailing, fishing, birdwatching and cycle hire are all available locally. The owner offers a full laundry service to guests at a charge. Beach 300 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Our second visit to Wayfarer. The cottage is warm comfortable and extremely clean and welcoming. Dogs are allowed but we never came across any dog hairs during our stay. It is ideal for a break by the sea with the beach just behind and lovely coastal walks in both directions. It's a great base for exploring Norfolk and for seeing the seal pups during the winter.

We had a wonderful time at Wayfarer peaceful relaxing and very dog friendly. Accommodation was excellent very clean and comfortable would definitely return.
