Visit the grey seal colony and their pups at Horsey Gap Beach (between November and February) ot the traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth, 18 miles. Alternatively, visit the fine city of Norwich, 20 miles, with its castle, cathedral, museums, theatres and shopping. Walking, sailing, fishing, birdwatching and cycle hire are all available locally. The owner offers a full laundry service to guests at a charge. Beach 300 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

We had a lovely week at Wayfarer. It is a gorgeous little cottage, very nicely decorated and finished. Perfectly positioned for what we wanted, a quiet week walking and swimming in the sea.I am sure we will be going back.

What a great little cottage, beautifully presented. Upon arrival you find everything you might needed from basic food items to a lovely welcome pack containing awesome chocolate cake. There is a very useful guide to what's around and about as well as a local map which proved very handy. It's just a short climb over the dunes to a spectacular beach going off for miles in both directions. There are little tern and ringed plover nestings areas and along the coast seals on the beach.
