Stalham is a popular departure point for boating holidays on the Norfolk Broads, so it makes sense that the town would feature a museum dedicated to the region's history and ecology. This is a great place to stay for exploring the Norfolk Broads and the coast, as it is only a short distance inland from some beautiful beaches.

What a great sociable, light filled space , with well equipped kitchen ,really comfortable beds, sumptuous bath , star filled sky in the hot tub, that felt very private . Griff our dog had the time of his life with beaches and Weavers way walks near bye .Left feeling rejuvenated also helped by the lovely Emma and her staff looking after us so well when our car had broken down .. We would highly recommend.

The road on the way in is a little 'uneven' (is being polite) but apart from that, plenty of parking. It is around 30 minutes to most places you might want to visit, so a good central hub. Only minor point was communication with the owner on arrival, as I needed the EV charging code for the Zappi charger, which wasn't in any of the e mails or welcome note, he took a lot of promoting from text messages and then Sykes to get a response. Otherwise a fantastic holiday base.
