Set on a quiet waterway leading to the River Bure in the popular village of Horning, is this delightful south facing property. The middle cottage of a row of three it has a verandah with steps down to a gravelled waterside garden and moorings. From here lots of boating activity can be watched and nearby Wroxham, the Broadland ‘capital’, offers boat hire. Norwich with its cathedral, castle, museums, theatre and fine shopping is 7 miles. Steam railway, nature trails, craft centres and golf locally. Sandy beaches 10 miles. Horning boasts an indoor swimming pool and fitness centre, shops and riverside inns serving food.

Nice accommodation in a lovely area, nice peaceful holiday, our only down side is the seating in the living area. The poang chairs are too low, (not ideal for older people) and the sofa, which is dangerous as it’s 2 ends are not connected together and if you use the arms to push yourself up it tips and starts overturning?. Plus the throw on the leather is constantly sliding off and constantly having to be resituated (very annoying ). This year I’ve had health issues which have made the seating very uncomfortable for me. This being said the cottage is well equipped and the bed very comfortable plus the fishing was great. Thank you for removing the weed, it was very much appreciated. this was our second visit and we have already booked for next year.

We have stayed at Ripples on several occasions. We find it very comfortable and convenient for all amenities and my husband particularly loves the fact that he can fish right outside the back of the property. I would recommend it to anyone.
