Seasong is a charming and quirky cottage in a peaceful coastal village, praised for its tasteful décor, relaxing garden, and proximity to beautiful walks, birdwatching spots, and a friendly local pub. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful touches, with many describing the cottage as cosy and welcoming. While some mention minor maintenance issues, limited natural light, and comfort concerns for those with mobility issues, the overall experience is positive, making it an ideal retreat for couples or nature lovers seeking tranquillity and character.
Most guests found the cottage clean and well-presented, though a few noted issues such as an unclean grill pan, limescale in the kettle, and a need for a shower clean. These were isolated comments, with the majority expressing satisfaction.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, proximity to the coast, birdwatching, and easy access to local amenities like the pub and shop. Some mention parking challenges and occasional bird droppings on cars, but overall, the setting is considered outstanding.
Guests generally found the cottage cosy and relaxing, with comfortable sofas and beds. However, some noted the bed was too hard, furniture was low for older guests, and feather bedding may not suit everyone. The cottage is best suited to those without mobility issues.
The cottage is well-equipped, with modern appliances and a well-stocked kitchen. Some guests missed a microwave or freezer compartment, and there were occasional issues with the TV, WiFi, and radiator. Maintenance concerns were minor but noted.
Many guests appreciated the welcome packs with essentials and treats, as well as helpful instructions and recommendations. Please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.
