We booked here last minute due to an issue with our original booking. The house had everything that you needed and good location. Lovely grounds, especially the garden. The village of Stalham is great too. However the house felt like we were staying in someone’s house, rather than a holiday let. Decor is very dated and dusty. It smelt damp. Surfaces etc were very clean but cobwebs, and dust on walls, floor corners and ceilings gave it a different feel.

We had a lovely half term break at Millside. The location is excellent for coast and Norfolk activities. Decor is pretty dated but generally clean (some wayward cobwebs) and had everything for a self-catered holiday. Washing machine was very handy for grubby kids clothes. Garden is lovely; not enough sunshine to try out the bbq sadly - maybe next time.Additional extension leads in bedrooms would be handy as limited sockets. Having some hooks in downstairs porch for wet coats would have been helpful; we got soaked one day and there was limited places to dry out. Also very limited hanging space in 2 of the bedrooms.
