Four of us stayed for three nights over a long weekend in the Egret Lodge. The lodge itself was spacious, fully accessible, and genuinely comfortable, which, as a disabled guest, made the stay much easier. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the fact it was pet‑friendly was a real bonus. There were a few downsides. The garden wasn’t secure, so we had to take our dog out on the lead several times a day and couldn’t leave the back door open, which wasn’t ideal. When we arrived on Friday, there was a large number of flies in the property, but once reported, staff provided fly traps on Saturday and the issue quickly settled. Seating was limited, with only one sofa for four adults, which wasn’t quite enough. The WiFi was extremely slow until Sunday, meaning we couldn’t watch films or play digital games together, and with no phone signal either, it became quite inconvenient.Despite these minor issues, we still had a lovely stay. None of the faults were enough to spoil our holiday, and our dog enjoyed it too. We travelled from Essex, and the area itself was beautiful with plenty of local amenities. We’ll definitely be looking at returning in the future.

Well equipped, spacious and clean/ tidy lodge with all the facilities. Great parking and a garden area. Probably only thing missing is a couple of occasional tables to place cup of tea/ coffee in lounge area( had to put drinks on floor or on unit under tv which you had to get up every time to retrieve). A very small point though as everything else was spot on…. Well done to all concerned.
