Guests say

Guests generally appreciate the Country Lodge for its great location, quiet environment, and cleanliness. The modern interiors and comfortable beds are well-received, with the surrounding park offering a picturesque setting. Some guests noted the absence of a dishwasher and limited kitchenware, while others mentioned issues with heating and a discrepancy regarding the advertised hot tub. Despite these points, the lodge is praised for its spaciousness and the site staff's friendliness.

Reviews consistently mention that the lodge is very clean, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The lodge is described as being in a great location, quiet yet within easy reach of amenities, and offering picturesque surroundings.

Comfort is highlighted with mentions of comfy beds and a quiet retreat, although some guests experienced issues with heating and kitchenware.

Facilities are generally good with a play park, cafe, and dog walking space. However, the absence of a hot tub as advertised and limited kitchenware affected the score.

While guests appreciated the Christmas tree, there is not enough information on consistent thoughtful gestures or gifts to provide a score. It should be noted that such gestures are not guaranteed.

We had an amazing time in the Egret hut. Would definitely stay again. A few things we feel it would benefit from are a door mat inside. Whenever it rained we had nothing to wipe our shoes on apart from the wet mat outside, so ended up walking wet muddy shoes into the house. Also we got VERY cold in the evening, so the capability to turn up the heating would be great. But overall we loved our stay and the Christmas tree was a great touch!

Had a long weekend at the lodge and really enjoyed our stay. the walks are very nice, and the surroundings are very picturesque.

Lovely accommodation in beautiful location! Easy late check in and the house was clean and had everything we needed. lt was great having the children's books which our kids were thrilled with. It didn't have a hot tub as the pictures suggested and looks directly onto a full campsite but the place itself was perfectly comfortable and the host was very responsive.
