Butterfly Roundhouse is a bespoke, hand-built, wooden roundhouse boasting a private hot tub, lawned garden with firepit, and seating furniture to enjoy. Boasting an idyllic countryside setting with privacy, it has an open vista across the countryside. Having almost zero light pollution, it makes for a perfect location to enjoy and relax under the huge Norfolk sky and the twinkling stars.
The roundhouse offers 26ft of open plan accommodation designed with everyday modern comforts and a wood burner to keep you very toasty even on those cooler evenings. Comfortably furnished and beautifully styled to offer couples a romantic retreat and a great family fun holiday. The accommodation has a kingsize bed with additional sleeping options of a double sofa bed and 2 single futon beds. There is even a well-equipped fitted kitchen to offer dining from home, and modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Dressing gowns for adults and a hairdryer are also provided. Please bring your own electronic devices, as there is no television within property.
Nestled within the Broadland village of South Walsham, set in lush countryside, excellent walking and cycling that can be enjoyed from doorstep, with plenty of designated footpaths, trails and quiet country lanes surrounding. The market town of Acle, 4 miles, and Brundall, 5 miles, offer railway stations, post office, mini-market, hairdressers and local eateries. There are many good food serving pubs within the surrounding area, some of which are located alongside the river.
Jump on the train to visit the city of Norwich, or the traditional seaside towns of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. Norwich is 11 miles away where guests can visit the cathedral, castle museum, theatre, excellent shopping and art galleries. Wroxham, only 5½ miles away, is known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads, and has waterside shops, cafés, and daily boat hire with river trips available to explore the expanse of waterways. There is an rspb reserve at Strumpshaw Fen and Steam Museum, 6 miles. 9-hole golf course and driving range at Blofield, 4 miles.
For fun-filled family days out there is Thrigby Hall Wildlife & Gardens, Bewilderwood at Horning for outdoor tree house adventure with zip wires, jungle bridges and marsh walks, the Roar Dinosaur Park at Lenwade for outdoor and indoor adventure parks, with splash play zone. Close by, the villages of Strumpshaw having a steam museum and fair every May, and Reedham has Pettitt’s Animal Adventure Park. Beach 14 miles. Pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Have just returned from our stay at the Butterfly Roundhouse and had an amazing time, could not recommend it any higher. Pictures really do not do it justice.We found the accommodation to be clean, cosy and incredibly unique. You really do feel as if you have escaped into your own little world and the views from the hot tub were incredible. It has everything that you need, a perfect location for accessing local amenities but is also very private. Sarah and Neil have done an amazing job. We were not fortunate enough to meet Neil but Sarah was extremely welcoming from the second we arrived. She even let our little our little one meet and stroke the chickens, which she absolutely loved.We hope to return in the future. Thanks for an incredible stay! From Josie, Ben and Paisley x
