Bird Barn is tucked away in the sought after village of Scottow, in an ideal and central location to explore Norfolkās amazing coastline and the famous Norfolk Broads. Excellent walking and cycling can be enjoyed from doorstep with designated footpaths, trails and quiet country lanes surrounding the property. Wroxham, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads, is 4Ā½ miles away, with daily boat hire, river trips, riverside restaurants, cafĆ©s and shops. Wroxham Barns has a cafĆ© and stalls offering handmade pottery, crafts, delicatessen, childrenās play area and small farm animal petting area. Bewilderwood at Horning is also a must for families. Coltishall is 3 miles away with a selection of shops and riverside pubs. The market town of North Walsham is 4 miles for shops, cafĆ©s and restaurants. The Norfolk sandy beaches can be found at Mundesley and Happisburgh (10 miles) and Bacton, Walcott and Sea Palling (12 miles). The popular seaside resort of Cromer is 13Ā½ miles with a promenade, pier, Amazona Zoo, golf course, tennis courts and town centre with shops, cafĆ©s and restaurants. Excellent cottage in a quiet location. Lovely large enclosed garden and plenty of space to park.Very well presented with lovely hosts.Be aware there are no shops in the village though. Nearest shops a couple of miles away. This doesn't detract from this property being a wonderful and quiet place to take a relaxing holiday, and would definitely recommend it. Also this property has excellent washing facilities for the dog should it be necessary. The best we have come across.

Very clean, comfortable and warm. Nice welcome from owners and lovely goodies left for us and our dog. Everything you could want is there in the barn and really convenient for the Broads and N & E Norfolk coast towns. Several National Trust properties nearby and climbed up to the top of Horsey Windpump windmill which was fascinating.Very peaceful surroundings and large garden with many birds visiting. A great stay and would recommend.
