We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights away. The only issue I feel is if you had children, there are no activities for them at all on sight. The open air pool could only be used if a lifeguard was present, and the site restaurant wasn't open. This did not matter at all to us, as the accommodation was fantastic and we were out and about in the car. We would happily return in the future.

Our stay at Highview was a mixed bag. The location was fantastic. The holiday park was quiet, with tidy surroundings. The town is a great point to explore from, lots of popular coastal attractions were easily accessible. There was a nice selection of local recommendations available in the property, which did help guide our decision making. Sadly the pool wasn't open when we stayed, but it did look fantastic and we noticed life guards being trained. The caravan itself does seem to have been well loved over the years. It has a good amount of amenities including a dishwasher and air fryer. But strangely there was only one baking sheet for the oven. On the whole our stay was comfortable, but there were corners of dust and grime in the property that let it down. Upon unpacking I did find a stray pill under the bedside table, which gave an indication of a less than thorough clean. The hot tub was a wonderful addition, but there was no communication on how to operate it. So it was left on throughout our entire stay, which meant it was always ready for when we wanted it, but did seem a bit of a waste of electricity! Our rating could have been improved by a little more written communication with the host (e.g the sites recycling locations) and some more attention to detail in terms of cleanliness. The external picture of a property has also been edited with AI which is a shame.
