About this property

A fabulous, stylish barn conversion set in a stunning rural location, yet only a short walk away from the coast.

A fabulous, stylish barn conversion set in stunning open countryside, with long distance views, yet only a short walk away from the coast.

Big Sky Barn is a 200-year-old brick and flint character barn that has undergone a total refurbishment and now offers extremely comfortable. well-equipped and luxurious accommodation. With two bedrooms (two super-king beds, one with twin option) and two bathrooms, an open plan living space and private, enclosed courtyard garden, this is a super spot (a perfect romantic getaway) that will appeal to couples, friends or a small family at any time of the year.

Incorporated into the barn walls are stones from the 13th century ruins of Bromholm Priory, mentioned in Chaucer's 'A Reeve's Tale' and once believed to be home to the True Cross, which is a really special feature.

A great get-away-from-it-all rural retreat, somewhere to relax and wind down, but also a comfortable base from which to explore this lovely area of Norfolk - there is easy access to local beaches, wonderful coastal and rural walks, and country lanes to explore on foot or bike.

Please note: Big Sky Barn is not detached; parts of the barn adjoin the adjacent Bromholm Barn, which also sleeps four and can be booked in conjunction with Big Sky Barn for larger groups (if available).

Such a relaxing and peaceful short break. We love the barn. What a beautiful property - well designed and equipped and very comfortable. Lots to see and do in the area and great places to eat nearby. Gunton Arms, Ingham Swan and Blakeney Hotel highly recommended.

Fabulous property in a beautiful location. Great for exploring Norfolk. We had some lovely days at Holt, Holkham beach, Burnham Market, Felbrigg Hall and Bewilderwood. We also enjoyed walking from the property to Walcott beach. Highly recommend the Suffield Arms for delicious Tapas.
